My Path From Picky Eater to Restaurant Owner and Podcaster

We wrapped up the first season of the Feasting Flyer podcast a few weeks ago, but I recently had the opportunity to be a guest on the Award Travel 101 Podcast.

Jeff Brownson is the host of that podcast and the manager of one of the largest and most knowledgable online communities devoted to points and miles. He and I share a similar background. We were picky kids, but grew to love food. As adults, we’ve owned and operated restaurants, and as frequent travelers, we make food one of the top priorities on every trip we take.

Jeff and I had a great conversation about how our eating habits changed over the years, how we think about food when we visit new places, how my travels have shaped the menu at my restaurant, and how points and miles have helped to fuel our shared passion for unique and memorable culinary experiences.

Check out the full Award Travel 101 Podcast episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or Google Podcasts.

And if you haven’t done so already, check out the Award Travel 101 Facebook group. It’s one of the best places to learn about points and miles, and remains an incredibly valuable resource for me. I’m constantly learning new things from Award Travel 101 and highly recommend it to anybody that wants to get more from their points, miles, and credit card rewards.

We’ll be back with new episodes of the Feasting Flyer podcast soon, but in the meantime, I hope you enjoy my discussion with Jeff.
